Hydra is affilliated with the following programs and organisations:
The Hydra coordinater FhG FIT is a member of ARTEMISIA, the association for R&D actors in the field of ARTEMIS: Advanced Research & Technology for EMbedded Intelligence and Systems.
The Hydra middleware allows developers to create inclusive applications with a high degree of accessibility for all. The Hydra project supports the Commissions campaign: eInclusion - be part of it!
The Hydra project is part of the Cluster of European projects on the Internet of Things. The Cluster aims to promote a common vision of the Internet of Things.

First Demonstrator of HYDRA Middleware Architecture for Building Automation Final
Martin Sarnovskı, Peter Kostelník, Peter Burka, Ján Hreňo, Dáša Lacková, Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence, Technical University of Košice, Slovakia:
This paper describes the first results of HYDRA (“Net-worked Embedded System Middleware for Heterogeneous Physical Devices in a Distributed Architecture”). In the paper we present a first scenario in the domain of building automation, which we have researched in detail to explain what could be done with the Hydra midleware architecture.
The paper was presented at the Znalosti 2008 conference, which was held 13-15 February, 2008 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
